There were plenty of Trek-ships for X3 and a few in X2.

Problem is that even just importing existing models takes a lot more work in X4, than in previous games. I imagine that somebody somewhere might be working on something while nobody is looking.

I recall someone had been working on making an original enterprise model for x4 but I'm not sure of their progress. I guess we'll find out if its posted.
