Custom map crashes in singleplayer, works in editor. Why?
Hi guys,

i have created a custom mission, but i have some troubles bringing it into the game. I can start it just fine in the editor, but when i load it in singleplayer it will without fail crash at 43%. Failed to allocate memory or no error message at all.

When i delete about 2/3 of the units i placed on the map, i can make it work. This is, for the sake of the created mission, not acceptable.

Any ideas how to work around this? I would hate to just release it as editor only map.

do you know how many entities there are? I think there is a bug limiting the amount of entities you can have on a map. Not sure if its been rectified but it is a limitation that has been around for a while.

Hey Aussie, thanks for the idea :) Gladly i could figure it out already! Also I think the object limit is solved with the new 64 bit engine though. But not sure.

Ah good stuff. Good to know the entity limit is rectified in 64bit.
