Converting/Updating Legacy Mods
Is there a way to convert/update legacy mods so one can add smoke and lighting effects?

you'll need to make a new mod in the new system.
You can use all the same assets though, just re-assign them in the new system

So move all the models/textures to the "Custom assets" folder, then make a mod in the new system as usual.

You can also use the "Model invert" option when setting a mesh to negate the model flip people used to need to do with old QuickMods
