Adding Custom Survivors to the game

So if you don't know me, then i'm currently a modder for L4D2 Making Skin Mods and the reason i'm here is because someone has mentioned that i should start modding for No more Room In Hell but i don't even know where to start. if anyone can give me some advice on what to do then that will be appreciated.

Should be just about the same. Next update is actually moving away from the current view model system and switching over to the same one L4D2 uses.

@Wazanator:okay am i doing something wrong, because i've managed to compile the model i am doing for this mod and everything else, but when i look at the character select screen, it's just an error, and i just want to know, i s there anything that i have missed out or something i have done wrong?
