Mod compatibility

I have various of the "Yet another mechlab" etc mods installed. I was considering installing Piratetech but I don't know if it would conflict with the others.

I think both have hyperassault gauss cannons in them so I don't know what the result would be... Has anyone tried using them together?

Basically I was interested to try out the Cemetary rife.

I think pirate tech uses Merctech as a base, which makes it incompatible with YAML.

Correct, MercTech / PirateTech and their accompanying mods are not compatible with YAML. IIRC Baradul used a very early build PT Light last year with YAML but since then PT went fully MercTech.
