Ability Does Not Unlock

I have an ability which is supposed to become available after activating a specific symptom. However, even after I activate that symptom, the ability never appears. I even looked in the disease.txt file and confirmed the hash code is the right one. What could I be doing wrong?

Solved my own problem. The issue was that the condition to trigger the ability was under "condition AND". There was no other trigger, but as soon as I put the trigger in "condition OR" instead it showed up. Not sure why the logic would have failed (it shouldn't have) but if anybody else runs into something similar, here's something to try.
