"Steam API not connected"

this keeps appearing when i try to upload my joke unit to the workshop. no idea why, checked how to mega builder was set up, tried to do the same but to no avail.

Are you running the game through steam library? Launching from a shortcut or the main .exe will render it separate from steam

im running it from the library, maybe if i exit steam and log back in it'll work
