Hello all,
I've been playing this game for quite some time, and have been exploring the workshop in hopes of finding certain types of mods. Unfortunately, I have found a drastic lack of certain features that I think would thoroughly improve gameplay and strategy, and was wondering if anyone in the modding community might be able to help either A) Make these mods available with their existing expertise; or B) direct me to how I would generate the mods for my designated purposes.

The lack of weapon diversity is more than a little aggravating, especially as someone who has enjoyed the science fantasy genre quite thoroughly. Energy weapons designed for short range or long range specialist combat, for example. Alternatively, why are there no railguns? I mean, friggin' railguns are the most logical kinetic weapon in the space age, and would be a great mid-range or alternative long-range weapon for vessels.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
