Warhammer Mod Request
Hi guys I haven't noticed anything recently but realised it might be really cool to get a Warhammer old World Mod up for remastered, I believe it would be a big project however it would be well worth the time put in, as RTW mechanics might be more fun to play on. Also if we could add a Multiplayer functionality it would be Golden. If you would be interested please leave reply below maybe we could get some discussions on it here.

I feel we should start on it in Order of the games as well, so first mainly focus on the Old World. Then add in the High Elves, Dark Elves and Lizardmen/Saurian in their corresponding regions in an update or a separate Mod for each game, you could possibly have the Regional areas split up in the Imperial Campaign Options like some other Mods have done, so that the Campaign Map is not just one buggy and slow campaign. But you could provide the grand campaign option as well. I personally love the fued between the Night Goblins and Dwarfs and would love to see battles with the RTW Ui and their city expansions with the RTW cities mechanic as its much simpler. This would be a really fun Mod and with the Unit Textures already ported that would mean most work would just have to be put into the Map itself and adding the Portal Mechanic for the Underway like the RTW Remastered Portals Mod, where Dwarfs, Night Goblins and Skaven would benefit from because of slower movement on the campaign map.

Possible ideas on how to get the quick version of this Mod: Port files from the Original Vanilla Warhammer Mod and Upscale their Unit Cards and Textures like with the RTW Original Textures Mod. Take inspiration from the Remastered Airbender Mod and Lord of the Rings Mod and the old Warhammer Mod for Vanilla RTW where we could port a lot of Models too.

Also lets give Units lots of Movement Points, and have Recruitment instant for lots of Units depending on turn time so you can recruit multiple units instantly after one turn or wait for longer turn units but recruit multiple units. Lastly maybe we could add Underways so you can get around quicker on the map. Its a shame Age of Sigmar never merged with Fantasy and we could have gotten Webway/realm gates over the Old World, but the Underways system would be nice for ferrying around Skaven, Dwarfs and Night Goblins who would all have slower Movement points.

We could possibly create a proper Age of Sigmar expansion to the game as well if we get a really good crew working on this, my vision for that is that we get the End Times going on but then Sigmar Arrives and brings the Stormcast Eternals host via a Thunderstorm after the Saurian Slann,High Elves and World of Men successfuly work together to call for help to their Gods to help the old world and fight off the Demons in an alternate timeline where Sigmar Arrives early and saves the Old World, that would be a larger extension to the Mod but would be a great way to finish it. Could say 1-2 years to work on the Mod as a timescale so that you have plenty of time. But I'm no modder so wouldn't know how much time you would need but again by porting file textures from the Orginal Vanilla Mod this time could be reduced like the RTW Original Textures Mod. Not only would this be a good expansion but i think it would satisfy the Warhammer community in fixing the timeline we should have gotten.

Please leave your comments below, hopefully we can start brainstorming this and collaborate with the community who may have worked on the previous Warhammer Mod for Vanilla. Or get a new crew on it to start work on this interesting project. My main advice would be not to over do it like the Imperum Inserectum Mod, lets not waste too much Storage space or have too much going on. Try and make it simple like the Airbender Mod then expand it from there.
