So if like me in F1 2021 your were using separate wheel and pedals connected via usb and you find that in F1 22 only either the wheel or the pedals are detected by the game, then you're in luck !


What happened when I tried to map both my wheel and my pedals (Thrustmaster TMX and T-LCM Pedals) was that only my pedals were usable and only as a steering axis.

For those who don't have or can't use the RJ12 cable to connect the pedal to the wheelbase, my friend Nova found the solution for you !!!

1. Install Vjoy : https://sourceforge.net/projects/vjoystick/

2. Install HidHide : https://github.com/ViGEm/HidHide/releases

3. Install JoystickGremlin : https://whitemagic.github.io/JoystickGremlin/download/

4. Setup a new Vjoy Device with 3 axis, (Xr,Zr,Yr)

5. In Joystick Gremlin remap your pedalset axes to your Vjoy Device axes (X rotation,Z rotation,Y rotation)

6. Save then activate your Profile

7. Use HidHide to hide your fanatec or thrustmaster pedals

8. Launch F1 22 and you'll be prompted to remap ALL of your controls

9. Have fun !
