I tried to get into modding, but the mod wiki page doesn't give much instruction. It tells you what you need, but not how to do it. I downloaded some program it asked for, but I'm not familiar with what it does. Nothing really tells you what to do if you wanted to add, like say, a new weapon. I tried looking up tutorials on youtube for modding other games, but they tend to have different methods and not much else.

I can kind of figure out a few things if I could find the location of the actual mod files and look at them in txt. I looked in appdata but the only mod thing I can find is a mod list. Theres the modding discord, but it's a chat channel. Not good for tracking down step by step instructions, and the pin just links you back to the modding wiki. I'm not new to adding mods, but I am new to making them from scratch. I kinda want people to stop assuming I know what they're talking about when they say "you need an xyz to your omg wtf bbq"
