Outdoor signs? Mod Advice?

I've had several mod ideas over the past few days. For example, differently designed outdoor sings that will allow you to type your hospital's name on them.

Is that something that could be created for this game and is there anyone willing and able?

Or if I wanted to start creating things like this myself, how would I go about that task?
I've been interested in modding for a while now, figured a more simple game would be a good start maybe.

There is a pretty good mod in this game that gives you letters, but you can only place them as decals. You can use them creatively to make your hospital's name. I highly doubt the game can handle editable signs like you're suggesting because you can only place one object on a wall at a time and they are simple 2d recolorable textures. What I think would be great along these lines would be a set of generic hospital logos, new posters, and other hospital-y objects that hang on walls, if that's what you're interested in. The same 8 posters gets boring. lol
