Just got this on sale,anyone recommend any good mods?

Did you get the RT DLC in a bundle? Click on Mods on the startup screen, or go to the Workshop on Steam (basically the same list). I haven't played with many mods, and usually only play with the Rising Tide DLC and nothing else. The Codex mods seem to be popular, and there are some mods that introduce factions from SMAC that you may want to try, but they may also disappoint because the game will still not be SMAC. Personally I don't think it needs a lot, except for the Rising Tide DLC, which corrects and improves on a lot of things from the vanilla game.
