I'm not sure what's happening right now but the game has been so smooth and flawless, I have had absolutely no issues, but I reached the quest "Party of Three" and all of a sudden, every fight just sends my fps into cardiac arrest. I don't know if it's the number of enemies or what, but things have gone from good fun to frustrating troubleshooting. Like I said, it didn't start until around when I dropped off Iris and Gladio left for his "business". I've messed with my Resolution, fps, and other visual options with no success. It could be possible it's just the dungeon I'm in.

Has anyone else encountered this? If so, is there a solution?

Edit: I had the client verify the game files' integrity and it did an update right after, it's running perfectly now. I tracked it down to a Nexus mod that restored the option to use your custom avatar instead of Noctis during the Story.
