I've always told myself while playing that "what this game need to make the single-player* better is the player being faster at doing things", specifically:
+10 or 20% faster reload animation (don't know if 20 is too fast)
+faster holstering/un-holstering
+faster transition between the sprinting animation & normal animation
+faster ADS
&
+faster weapon swapping
(or a script that lets you prime & throw grenades without equipping them)
what you've just shown proves that this is possible. I hope you make some mutators for this game, you definitely got the skills for it.
*and only single-player, most of the above points I made wouldn't matter if you had buddies covering you.
Of course that implies being familiar with modding and messing with model de/recompiling:these sorts of things take time, and since mods like these usually don't work online I can't see why not so many people feel interested to do it (I only did the magnum out of curiosity, tinkering with qc values for one,but also because I do believe the single action is ridiculously slow).
I'm part of those people who believe the slowness and clumsiness of the characters is on point:
survivors not necessarily trained for such dire situations, possibly facing lack of food/water,sleep deprivation, that may have their pockets full of others things the game doesn't show since it can't be used (canned food, water, misc heavy things...) I think I'm taking this thing way farther than you wanted to hear, but you get my point.
...all of that just to say that I won't be editing the rest of the weapons, sorry.
EDIT:when I said "when posting this" I meant this submission and all the blabla with it:

I guess I should have clarified this in time, now it's too late and I'm probably talking to myself.
Honestly the only thing I would want to be able to do faster, is use grenades, (I'm not making a request)
I understand that all the guns are heavy and unless the survivors were built like Heavy from TF2, they wouldn't be able to swap weapons very fast.
The grenade items however, feel very sluggish to use for how much they would realistically weigh.
Unless you're in a place where the zombie can't easily get you, they leave you wide open to get ganged up on with how long they take to throw.
(being able to throw them without equipping them first would fix this, but that has nothing to do with animation tweaks)
But anyways sorry for the rant, and thank you for responding.
