Creative Mode mod

Was there ever a Creative Mode type of mod made that lets you spawn items or characters?

Like spawn food or ore or spawn a starving bandit or spawn a Beak Thing in the middle of a town.

there is not, as that's not how the game is geared.
all items are done thru the FCS
buildings through the in game editor.

You can use the ingame editor for that (items, buildings) and FCS for everything else. Unfortunately we are unable to create new functions for the game, so unable to make a new UI that would serve as what you describe. The ingame editor already is one, tho.

Just a warning, for me opening the ingame editor killed the gameplay. As soon as I realized I can build whatever I want unlimited from the editor I went from a player to a mod maker. No going back for me.
