Report a translation problem
The closest would be to use the pathing tool on the workplaces to see which way people walk and then place the road there. If jobs get reshuffled and people living in another place get the job, you'll end up with a pretty much useless road though.
I tend to try and "force" people to get to the road by lining them with building / stockpiles that prevent them from cutting corners and makes the road-side of the buildings a shorter path than the "going around through the woods" way, but... :-/
