KILL the DRAGONEER (Flamethrower)

I don't know you, but I don't remember Flamethrowers when I fragged in 1999...

In any case is a horrible weapon to use and suffer.

Thanks Butane, the alt fire mode is the only one I use (but change to any other weapon as soon as I can).

I dont say that it is not useful, I say that it just clouds the screen with flames that dont let you do anything... this is supposed to be a twitch reflexes precision game... :(

There were discussions to have the primary made into a beam-type thing. But that might have been post-poned past release if it is happening. Not sure!

exactly! a beam weapon would have the same use (more or less), I wouldn't like it to use either, BUT wouldn't obfuscate the whole screen for everyone looking in that direction!!!

I hope they make that change...

I love the flamethrower. I like it here, I like it in Killing Floor 2, I like it in Day of Infamy, and I'm happy to see it more often in FPS games. I'd like to see it become a common weapon like the shotgun, or sniper rifle.
