The in game editor isn't ideal for longer descriptions though, given the smallish textbox. I deal with it by leaving a smallish description and then editing in everything else I want to put there on the workshop page after upload.
If the description you put on the workshop page is different/longer, make sure to save that text somewhere! Every time you upload an update to the workshop, the description will get overwritten by the description you wrote out in the in-game editor.
Do you know if Steam strips the uploaded files of the creator's personal data (name of their computer etc) or did you have to do it yourself?
I'm afraid I'm too ignorant about that stuff to be sure. I at least haven't noticed any personal info among the campaign files I've uploaded, so if you don't see anything like that in my campaign, I would guess you're fine!
