Some 40k Inspired Class Ideas
As a Warhammer 40k fan, I tried the already existing 40k mod classes of the guardsman and the space marine. I love both of them. It got me kinda wishing there were more cuz it fits the theme fairly well (Chaos cults in the ruins, the Weald and Warrens could easily be the workings of Nurgle). I had 2 classes in mind that I think would fit the theme of the game well and be good additions. I wish I had any idea how to make them myself but I can't so I wanna toss the idea out there. The classes are:

The Death Korps of Krieg:

This class could play similarly to the existing Guardsman class(mod) but could also set itself apart enough to be unique. The current guardsman mod has like no melee options, so perhaps the Kriegsman could spec into that, using the iconic shovel and maybe bayonet charges to move spaces in the party during combat.

Also there could be some interesting ways of handling the stress. Kriegsmen tend to be stoic and a little offputting to other astra militarum regiments and even their own comissars, so they could take reduced stress from enemies but possibly perform actions that might incrementally add stress to the other party members. They tend to do suicidal things so they could possibly have a mechanic where when their stress is tested and they breakdown they do a suicide charge that could either be guaranteed to take out a single target (probably barring bosses) at the expense of their own life or maybe like a suicide grenade charge that kills the Kriegsman but does damage to all enemies on the board and possibly debuffs or stuns them as well.

Since they tend to not be too sociable but very pragmatic, their camping skills could focus on buffing the attack of party members (equip maintenance or something). But likely he wouldnt have any skills that buff the party morale or lower their stress. It would also be fitting to have a camp skill where they post guard and prevent ambush.

The Adepta Sororitas:

This class could be somewhat similar to the Vestal but perhaps focus less on healing to avoid redundency. Perhaps she could focus more on reducing stress and dealing damage. Her role would probably be somewhat more of a frontliner or somewhere in the second or third positions. She would probably have some kind of party or targeted buff she can inflict. It would make sense for her to mark targets as well. Aside from the support actions, she should also be a serious damage dealer, making use of chainswords and bolter pistols most likely.

As far as camping abilities go, she would focus heavily on stress relief and perhaps buffing party members for the next encounters. Perhaps she could also have synergy with pre-existing religious hero classes.

I've just been thinking about these ideas lately and wanted to toss them out there and maybe have someone who can make the mods consider the ideas.

If anyone has any more ideas or tweaks that would add to the classes, I'd love to hear them.
