Local mod, getting error
I created a local mod by combining a handful of Workshop mods. However, when I run the game and try to create a new game, I get an error "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".

I can't figure out what the heck that's supposed to mean...it's too generic. Initially it pointed out errors in my YAML files, which I corrected. A few missed spaces and such, nothing major. Once those were done, I started getting that error.

I've gone through the manifest.yaml and manifest-bluemars.yaml files and all files in the mod are referenced properly (as far as I can tell). I spent an hour going over every line in all of the files to make sure everything was in place, if the code referenced code elsewhere (such as techs unlocking buildings) I made sure those buildings existed in the proper buildings yaml, and then another 2 hours piecing the mod back together again. I'm at a loss. Any mod creators able to help me figure this out? I can zip up and post the mod somewhere if necessary. It isn't big.

first, make a backup copy of everything you have.
then try making a tiny mod just to make sure you get the manifests and config right.
then slowly add and test only one feature at a time, backing up every version.

small, incremental changes are key to finding problems.
