It's hard to help you when we don't see your settings. Take screenshots with F12, upload them with Steam and post the links.
Screenshots of the map and pictures of the TDC.
Cheers Ruby
I would have addressed this problem to you, but was not sure how to reach you.
I'm glad you saw my TDC msg. My main question to you is the " the angle on the bow follow-up switch was never turned on (bottom switch on TDC)" supposed to work? Do you want screen settings with that switch on or off? I was missing when it was on. I'm not sure how to upload screenshots.
BTW, this mod is one of the best tech mods I have ever used. Great work, and well appreciated.
Joe
I got the screen shots u asked for but can't find a way to get them on steam. I took them from win10 not the game, game screen shots did not work. I can attach them to email and send to you.
BTW I ran the test 2 times with the angle on the bow. Both times was a success, and finally on 2nd try, I got 2 hits.
Later on I tried again for about 3 hrs, but could not get a hit. All shots are behind the ship.
I tried playing around with torp gyro angle and turning speed correction but I don't really understand how the gyros work. I turned off the bow follow-up switch hoping to keep the gyros pointing to 0 deg. but nothing I tried tonight worked. n
I tried to take screen shots again, but nothing happens with f12. (last night)
I tried today again and found out i was using wrong red/green setting. I ran again and was torps were running behind ... i moved the point on bow further front.
I also made all input first before turning on the follow-up switch. Now the torps are hitting the very front of ships bow. So I set the AOB point about center of both ship and sub and results are 2 hits about center.
So far this working for me .... the torp hit a little forward yet but i still get 2 hits.
Joe
Or switch it on as your calculating probably best but last point to do it is prior to flooding.
Fell into that trap while learning it, missing everything and was baffled :)
