Different Gravity Triggers?
The issue is I'm trying to make a water themed track that whenever you enter the water you go into 0g mode and when you exit the water you are back to normal. Since water is thicker than air (normally), the 0g trigger would make you go slower once you hit it, so it would be better to try and bypass the flooded track arias. The spherical triggers work but leave gaps in between them. If I make them bigger they trigger too soon and if I make them smaller I would need a bunch of them to try and make a flat surface.

Is there any way to make a Square Gravity trigger in the level editor instead of a spherical one? Or one that is just a flat plane? Or is there and easier way to pull off the same effect?

A screenshot of your map, what you're trying to do on it, would probably help, so we can see if it's already possible with the current tools.

Put in
C:\Users\username\Documents\My Games\Distance\CustomObjects
This planet has a -25 gravity, Dont worry it just takes longer to load in the editor,its not a official object.
Make sure the radius touches just the edge of the water you want,Itll bounce the car in the air like water.

Note how half of the track is under “water”, so added gravity triggers for “water”. Now need a way to undo the triggers if you leave the “water”

Added “Air” triggers, however there is a problem. The red aria is a void where you won't trigger any of the gravity triggers. And if I were to trigger a “water” Trigger I could fly around the air trigger and finish the rest of the track in 0G boost mode (if the rest of the track was done.)

Now I would like ideally one big square gravity trigger for “water”, and one for “air”. This way no matter where you go off the track the gravity would be triggered accordingly.

Sorry to tell you but what you want to do wont work out. There are currently only spherical gravity triggers, so the only way to make it work is to have spheres overlaying to minimize the amount of "diamonds." However, there is a... bug? Where the engine sound duplicates when you go through drag triggers. So not only will you not get insanely desireable results, but if people go in and out of the water they will be hearing a bunch of overlayed engine sounds. I'm sorry that we cant help you, but with what is currently in the game you cant really pull off what you want.

Oh well, The track will have to wait until it becomes possible or scraped entirely. Anyway thanks to all for the feedback. If anyone finds a way to pull it off let me know.

never scrap a idea. Best to wait for full release in order for devs to work on other tools.
A radius modifier for all objects,specifically cooling zones,checkpoints and gravity triggers is sorely needed
