A few questions regarding the workshop.
(This is intended to be questions for the devs, if they respond xD.)

Okay, so are we actually allowed to post dinosaur skins that use a mask layer, as opposed to the diffuse overlay system and/or post skins that are varients of existing skins (like idk, a red glacial cryo or something like that)?

Even if we are, these types of skins are sometimes not very popular and I most likely will not post any that use this system, but I would like to know wether it is or isn't allowed.

Basically, are only skins that use the diffuse overlay system (for dinosaurs) allowed, or can we use other ways to make skins, I might post an example (not on workshop), if you don't know what I mean, or need me to explain further (as it's likely that this makes no sense seeing as I typed it xD).

If someone ( hopefully one of the developers), can tell me, that would be great. Thanks!

The overlay system is used for nearly all skins, very few have unique full-res textures. Unless there's some very specific effect you're trying to achieve that can't be done any other way, it's strongly adivsed you stick to the overlay system. Doing things this way ensures consistency and reduces memory load.

Your question is a little fuzzy though.. I'm wondering if by masks you mean opacity masks? I think we'd be okay with that so long as they aren't super huge.

Sorry, I was asking wether I could use the camo system (like say, Mango and Guava Ptera), if that still doesn't make sense, I'm not sure how to explain it. Or just skins that are varients of existing skins or weapon skins that use existing pattern textures.
