[SOLVED + Tutorial] Overhead Camera

Hi, I'm completely ignorant. Love this game, especially playing the custom mods.

I've been playing lots of the Guitar Hero mods and wanted to change the camera angle - but I have no idea how. I've seen in the DDR mods that they've got a skin that allows overhead view or one that allows roughly first person view and I wanted to replicate this for the Guitar Hero mods.

Is there any tutorials out there, or is anyone willing to explain how I could go about adjusting pre-existing skins to allow for an overhead view of the track and adjust distance from track?

Turns out it was quite easy.

For anyone interested:

1) Find this -
*/Steam/steamapps/common/Audiosurf 2/mods/*♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ number*/name of mod you wanna change/name.lua

2) Open it with Notepad

3) Scroll down a few lines until you find 'SetCamera' function (if missing, skip this)

4) Copy and paste the following function - overwriting previous function (DELETE QUOTES)

"SetCamera{ -- calling this function (even just once) overrides the camera settings from the skin script
pos = {0,50,6},
rot = {60,0,0},
}"

5) [OPTIONAL] Adjust these values to your hearts desires if you want different camera placement

6) Press ctrl + S to save the updates

7) Play the mod with new camera

8) [OPTIONAL] Download simply-Y skin from workshop and use this with GH mods.
