no map mods
whenever I try to browse for maps it will just say "No items matching your search criteria were found." anyone else getting this problem?

Happening to me as well, not just within the steam client, but also using multiple browsers and different computers at home and at my work. I think the maps section is just broke and has been for a few weeks. Shame because I was hoping to find a new map to enjoy.
