[idea]Buffs on kill
Currently Im playing Ys: The Oath in Felghana, which probably will remain in my personal list of "best titles to play with gamepad" for a long time. Among other features, game has intresting buffs system - each time, you kill enemy, they have a chance to drop item that, on contact, will heal or temporarily buff your character (e.g you dont need to pick it up or use manually - just walk nearby). Wonder if its possible to do something similar in TL2.

I mean - there are already trapped chests, that summon projectiles on interaction (who said that they MUST be bad for character?). And also some structures (I dont remember everything, since I didnt play torchlight 2 for a really long time), that regen your MP when you walk nearby (Im about mana rifts (or how was they called?) in desert). And enemies, that explode on death. Maybe its possible to do something out of it?

hi @Yuki.
Just stopped by to say thanks for inviting me and to let you know i have subscribed to this discussion. I removed your invitation post from the Classless workshop page since it's not really related to that mod.
Your idea should be doable (like u said, there are similar events in-game already), it will just take experimentation.

but does it require to rewrite every single mob's behaviour to work?

Assuming it is a dropped item, aside from creating the item itself it "should" be just the spawnclass files which need to be edited (fewer than monster unit files)
