I can't get spawnpoints to work

I can't get the spawn mode 'spawnpoint' to work. i have placed a spawnpoint dodad, but it just uses the helicopter spawn mode.

Meta -> Spawn Mode : Spawnpoint

i already changed it to spawnpoint in meta, but it doesn't work.
