Gunblades

I really like the concept and love the redeemer, i would like more of this melee type, for example, a double dagger-handgun, a sword-burstrifle and a corpus staff or polearm that works like the Jaffa Staff Weapon from Stargate

you've got to be carefull with adding too many melee - gun hybrids otherwise it all turns into rwbyframe.

The thing is that because weapons of the same class are generally all just reskins of the same core behavior, they would have to be new weapon types, ie. dual gunblades, gunglaive, gunlance, etc.
