File not found while uploading to workshop

Using the guide to uploading a challenge to workshop. I'm pretty sure I'm following it correctly but it's very vague and lacking in detail.

Running the .bat file I get an error saying "file not found"

Am I supposed to put the path for both files? with name of challenge and .xml after?
There's no info I could find on more details for uploading to workshop. Any help would be great, I think its just typing out the script correctly in the .vdf but I have no clue what to fix.

Make sure your thumbnail is properly named. I got the file not found issue because my thumbie was named something else, but the .bat only looks for that specific filename.

Specifically it says failed to update item to the workshop. Well I'm trying to upload a new item not update one. Following the guides instructions still is vague and helps little.

K so I unzipped the files to desktop. Path should be C:\Users\CrocodileRock\Desktop\WorkshopUploader
Then \content (content has the 2 challenge files)
and
\preview\preview.png (my screen shot is renamed to preview.png (and is a .png)

I guess I don't understand if i'm supposed to remove any other info in that file, type out specific commands etc. (Never done this stuff before). For example it says to list it at 0 so it's public, well it's by default typed out that way but yet uploads it as hidden (a blank file is uploaded or something weird)
