Blocks behind blocks is it possible?

Im tring to make a indestructible race map, I used steel blocks for it but it dosent look as good as if it would with other blocks e.g. bunker, stone... so is it possible to put a steel block behind a stone block, and if it is then how do I do it?

It is, if you spawn in steel blocks they are behind others if i recall correctly. (spawn action in triggers)
The "shimmering" is still there, but at least they are covered up (the dird could be destroyed to reveal the steel though)

Creating a whole level with the Spawn Block action would take forever though.

Yeah it would take a while, thats why im not doing it that way.

well that process could be easily automated via my tool
I currently setting up my new pc (buidt it last monday) i might be able to programm a functionality like that into it (automaticly creating a trigger with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ of spawn actions)
It should be merely taking functiosn i have and tweaking them + some new code
