like its cool to make huge ships, but the bullets of the gun need to travel half your ships before reaching the "outside world" and then they just vanish 5 meters away from the hull.

Yeah, I often feel the need to mount guns on the nose for that reason, despite wising I could mount them further back to protect them.

I understand the range issue since like mauroghen said the projectiles goes half the titian ships width before disappearing maybe you should post another discussion or ask a modder for the range mod. I'm not a modder so I can't help you except for spreading the word for the mod. I'll check if theres any range mods currently and if there is I'll send word to you.

there used to be a mod called global extended weapon range or something and its just gone.

possible, but would really screw up the auto-P system.
certain weapons, such as the farmer LongBow, have extremely high P counts simply because the range messes up the auto-P system. the LongBow should be around 238P

Ah. the p unlimiter. I still use it. A haven't found anything including range just so you know.
