DLC and Workshop

I currently own all DLC to the game, and was thinnking: "What if the steam workshop/DLC would contain items, characters, character skins, and additions to already existing maps?"
I was wondering, is this a future possibility?

I just want to know if the game is good and if all the DLC is fun, should I buy the game, and should I buy all the DLC or some of them?

Well, the game is the best escape game I've found, and I have all of the DLC and I enjoy playing it with and without the downloadable Content. I got the game when it was on sale a year or two ago and have enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend it.
