Are the Rollercoasters the only thing we can design?
In previous versions, there were transportation rides, dark rides, mouse coasters, mine train, log rides, etc .... that we could also design - currently I only see coasters - a bit limiting I think. I love a greater balance in my parks - there isn't enough currently.

At the moment, it's just coasters and flat rides. Transport rides were confirmed for Early Access, and water rides were hinted at but not really explicitly confirmed just yet. Seeing how they included the Spinning Coaster I'd imagine that mini-coasters will be included too, but that's just a guess.
