Test a custom board space event?
First of all, the editor is great! It's really easy to use. Thank you!

So.. I made a custom board space event. Now I want to test it, but I don't want to wait for one of the 8 AI players to step on it randomly. Is there a way?

Also my Board Space Event doesnt seem to trigger a Tween Animation. As targets I used the Prop, Transform and Collider. I then told it to use the current position as the start and a specific position as the end. 1s duration. Nothing happens. What am I doing wrong?

Hi niborocin,

If you run your map from the mod editor you can press 'F3' which will bring up a UI displaying all available debugging controls. One of the controls allows you to select a player and then select a board space for them to move to.

1. Run your map from the mod editor
2. 'Ctrl+Left Click' on the player you want to move.
3. 'Ctrl+Left Click' on the board space you want to move to.

Note that you likely want to move to the space before the space you want to test and then press '1' to roll a one.

Additional debug controls and instructions are available in the F3 menu.

There may be an issue with the tween animation action, if you could provide a link to your workshop file we can take a closer look.

I uploaded it :) Thank you for offering your help! The board in question is the one on the thumbnail which is the only hazard board on the map right now. I even tried to send a message when entering a board but that didn't work either.

Thanks for doing that.

I can see what the issue is. Just adding the board space event component to a hazard space doesn't really work like it would seem to. you have to create a custom board space prefab and then set the space to 'Custom' and select your space.

Great, it worked out! I've got one more question. I am building custom board spaces with customized looks. Is it possible to make a custom "Recruit" field? I managed to simulate other spaces such as "Keys" and "Hazard" and give it the look I want but I cannot think of a way to implement custom "Recruit" fields with the Actions I can use.

Nevermind, I found a way to do it :)
I just create the prop I would like as my board space and assign it the "Board Space" Component. Then I select "Recruit". After that I add a few more props until I like the look and assign all of the props to an empty "Game Object" element.
