Can we just get a mod that has the cool ships and factions with the simple UI of the original and none of the complicated, pointless, BS that all these mods feel the need to add?
The only mod I could find that has what I want is EAW Remake 3.5, and that mod is unoptimized and runs like crap, how do mods that look better run better??

And all the other mods that look good and run smooth feel the need to over complicate the UI and gameplay for absolutely no reason. I just want some cool ships and to be able to fight for the galaxy in a simple way, I'm not here to worry about the extra, I'm here to build a fleet and try to take the galaxy.

Awakening of the Rebellion, runs smooth and looks good, overcomplicated the UI for literally no reason.
Thrawn's revenge, overcomplicates literally everything, runs the smoothest of them all.
