Open request to any Blender specialists, please create a (small) set of ship hulls. They don't need to be the entire ship, just the section(s) of compound curves and angles that make up the lower hull.

What I'm picturing is something like such... You pick out "medium ship hulls" from G menu, and with the scroll wheel decide on a Viking Longship. You "place" the hull down and a basic keel appears with some sticks propping it up. As you build, you next see the ribs of the frame and the mast appear and then plank sides and deck.You are then free to use whatever sail and other fittings you desire.

Or.... You build a drydock and choose a frigate from the "large ship hulls" and the same process except it stops at just building the lower hull with its beautiful SMOOTH surface and sturdy keel (as opposed to a Minecraft looking LincolnLog one) letting you build the rest.
