Thats why bluedrake made harsh doorstep instead of modding squad.
Step 1. Learn coding/modding yourself and be the foundation of this.
Then don't demand ♥♥♥♥ if you don't want to put in the effort to be the first
They used to highlight and advertise mods, they even purchased a couple to add to the main game, but every time they released a patch that required a corresponding update to the SDK, it would be weeks or months before mods could be recompiled to get them functional on the current version.
Then there was the segregation of modded servers into their own browser, and the awful whitelisting process.
I haven't seen mention of mods in the newsletters for a long time, but to be fair I haven't bothered trying to mod anything for this game since one of their updates left my first mod in a state where I would have to delete, remake, and re-upload as a new project. So maybe they have improved and modding is now encouraged and supported in meaningful ways.
I very much doubt it though, and I imagine there are many other players who were once willing to spend their time adding to this game that feel the same way.
But as DrunkenTee states above - if you want something changing so much that you feel it necessary to demand that change, you should step up and spearhead the charge to implement it.
I'll assume you are too busy earning fat stacks of cash to spend your precious free time on modding, in which case you could offer up some of your hard earned Dogecoin to employ others to do it for you - I mean your not some kind of commie are you?!
Another new patch next week would require the SDK be updated again anyway. Squad: Vietnam has been in development for around 3 years so just imagine how many times they've had to completely update their mod...
Sincerely,
semper
Holy Necro, you're late.
