Malcolm on the Left has Portal 2

Mac error message when rebuilding custom test chamber

When I'm trying to rebuild my test chamber so i can try it out, it comes with a vague message saying something along the lines of "an error occurred while building the chamber". I've verified the integrity of the game files, I've tried using the dev console but that's also inconclusive. Any suggestions?

This seems to have become an almost universal problem with P2 Workshop on mac. I'm seeing the same thing and no-one has any answers that actually seem to apply.

Yeah, seemingly all unix-based systems haave the problem (linux too)
