Going to be adding this into a mod I'm working on at some point because ice always just feels useless. Might also create some way to make "alloys" out of ice somehow to use for weapons/armor. Open to ideas if you have any!

Yayyy thank you! Hmm maybe it making a niche use in War Hammers like obsidian is for swords( Ice plus wood= ice maul). I can see many challenges arising though due to the melting nature it would (maybe) have to have. Im so excited to see your work!

Right now the alloy will be able to be used as a general metal though I may add a "more advanced" one for something along those lines.

Only issue I'm encountering now is figuring out how to define the ice boulders as a reagent in the smelting process. Sent a dev a message so will find out if it's even possible. I may just be wasting my time haha

Okay, I've got it working(1 icestone + 2 ice boulders = 2 icemetal bars). Still not sure what the names should be.

Okay, update: Simply ice weapons and armor work too(no alloy)!

But the game simulation is too deep!

Dwarven body heat melts them when equipped lol. I have a workaround though, should have a minimod for this stuff up tomorrow.

Further update: Many issues trying to get the new material items to actually display properly on the dwarves. Currently as it stands I'd have to have players remove the vanilla_creature_graphics entirely on the mod load screen & I'd have to include EVERY creature graphic .txt file in the mod as well(which is just silly) just to add the new tags to the dwarf graphics.

Talked to putnam(dev) and we may be getting a "CUT_GRAPHICS" thing soon. So this mod may just wait until then to be released.

Me: "This would be easy if I could just CUT_GRAPHICS:DWARF and redefine it
Otherwise to remove it and re-add it I also need to have every single creature graphics file in the mod."
