Is there by chance a "manual" for the editor? Trying to figure it all out through experimenting is pretty daunting. Many years ago I made maps for COH1 and they were pretty easy but so far I am lost with this one. Any new map needs lots of tweaking and trials. Can you create and test a map without posting it? That would probably save me some embarrassing moments (:-)
