Force loading mods in Campaign/Story modes (+DLC). Is this possible?
Title pretty much, I'd love to try the campaign fresh again with the various mods and weapons and tweaks and other neat stuff many people have created over the years, can this be made possible somehow? Purely for single-player. Don't care about achievements just fancy having some new fun in the campaigns :).

Technically, yes, via the modding system. However, it doesn't work the way you're probably hoping it will. The AI won't build or utilize anything from the enabled mods. In order to support that, the bases would need to be re-recorded for each mod or combination of mods separately. As in, recording one AI base that includes acidic weapons would not also instruct it on how to use banana weapons.

There are a number of very well made player created campaigns in the Workshop however, some of which are built around modded content. You can find them by using the Campaign tag.

I understand, thanks for filling me in on the process and your suggestions I really appreciate it :).

If you ever consider making a sequel to this great game, it's absolutely something I'd love to see built into the game natively, mod support for campaigns/story modes just for that extra fun factor.

I know how hard that can be to develop though, unless it's decided as a native core feature.

Many thanks again.
