Should patches be packed into a cat file?
I am doing some light xml patching and was wandering if I should pack it into a .cat file when I am done. Is there any really important reason to do so, or is it better to leave it unpacked?

Any little tweaks I do with mods I just leave unpacked. Easier to update them in case I have to change something. I'm not sure if there are any advantages or disadvantages to packing them or just leaving them as-is.

Yeah that's kinda what I was thinking. I would imagine that with larger volumes of data it could eventually cause performance problems. But I seriously doubt I have the capacity to make something that would really need packing.
