Hi, yes and more than one setup can be done but it needs way more blocks than using a Script.

To comment, in term of fonctionality and automation for drilling, PAM is way better than the AI block. It's complex to set the automation loop and it may require set of timer, sorter and mini cargo to estimate some actions (if no more ore in a small container, stop drilling etc)

For whatever reasons the automation, record block is severly botched on multiplayer, I can use it to auto dock without praying to get half my ship destroyed.
