How to make mods in 2023?

I'm still making mods with the tools. I have trouble getting things to upload, but no other new problems.

What symptom are you seeing that makes you say it doesn't work?

During build, the mod gives errors:

G:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Company of Heroes 2 Tools\Burn.exe failed with exit code 3.

Error building tes.mod: Burn failed with exit code 3.

Search for the error on the internet. Be sure to include CoH2 in your search keywords.

Do you have a 32-bit system?

No, I'm running the 64-bit version of the game. If you upload a mod to the workshop you have to switch to the legacy 32-bit version before you upload, or it won't upload your logo image. Then you can switch back and your updates will upload OK unless you change the logo.

Are you making a skin? I saw some posts that say exit code 3 for skins mean one or more of your .tga files is corrupt.
