[help] overriding base game entities
I wanted to change some properties of base game entities in a mod (e.g. changing the inventory size of existing props). However, when I tried to recreate the item definitions in a mod (with base game as dependency) and change the items via in-game editor, the changes always reverted back to the base game during game play. I am wondering if anybody has successfully changed properties of base game entities, and how to do it correctly?

Yes, I copied and entire file from the base game into my mod's directory, and then edited my copy. The file name, and the name of the prop should, not be changed. That's what gets the mod to "overwrite" the base game, otherwise, I think it treats it like a new additional item. I am not entirely sure what you're asking though, you might need to provide more detail.
