Workshop Mods Doesn't Download

It is an recent issue.
When I subscribe to a mod, it doesn't download/ work immediately anymore.
Only workaround I have found so far is that I un-subscribe from all mods, delete Brotato, download Brotato again, subscribe to mods I want, and only then it works.
Any suggestion on fix for this problem?

I don't know... but I just got several mods for the game. I now have a "mods" menu option. When I click it I see all my mods listed on the left. Nothing happens when I try and 'select' them, though. No matter what I do, the game is still vanilla (except for that mods menu area).

I've never had an issue with mods in any steam game before. There were no instructions on anything different/further I would have to do with this particular game. It doesn't say I have any conflicts or anything like that.... So.... yeah, I guess it's just busted.

I found a solution what worked for me. Was I unsubscribed from all mods. Uninstalled the game. Installed the game again, and then subscribed to mods again and it started to download them and all worked.
