Many have wondered, including myself, why this game is still in early access. The answer is pretty clear if you download the beta version, before the HD upgrade. I was amazed at just how much the dev's improved this game. There really is no comparison. When you play the original version, the game play is slow and cumbersome and very difficult to play. Then loading back into the HD version, the game play is smooth, the fighting and combat is seamless and the graphics as a whole is amazing. The game remained in early access because the dev's wanted to produce a better quality game and Unity provided that for them. They literally would have had to rebuild the game and start again. That's twice the amount of work for quarter the amount of money. I hope they continue with this game and provide additional DLC. I, for one, will buy it, then hopefully the modding community will see this game worthy of their time and skills.
