Why has no one created a mod to stop the heat in tropical zones?

Because it's not as big of an issue as people claim. Build a ship, have an enclosed room, hide in there during hot days, and sail either north or south into colder climates. After that, get a parrot, and work on your fortitude until the heat doesn't bother you. You're not supposed to be able to survive in all of the climates initially.

It is as big as an issue though, you can't build a ship if you're constantly getting burned and losing health, i was in freeport as a new spawn, i couldn't move out of it., heat shouldnt be that bad and being in water should actually help more than it does

.... Did you miss the part where I said to have an enclosed room? Works on land too ya know. And have you ever been to a tropical or desert environment IRL? There is this thing called acclimating, we had to spend a week doing it in Kuwait before we could go north. You can't stand the heat in a hot area at first until you build a tolerance (or as it's known in the game, Fortitude)....

Drink water, build a house, chill in it w/o doing anything until the heat wave passes, etc. As I said before, you're not supposed to have it easy in this game or be able to survive in every environment. if it was, then what would the point be in building your fortitude or getting a parrot?

also since your looking for a mod you can just adjust the points you get in your game to make it more to your liking so that is an option instead of a mod so like the other guy said not a big deal
