Armour is decent but i really surprised a ship of this size uses such little heavy armour, even around critical componets.
Propulsion; i really impressed at the steering with spinners, was this made before large rudders were a thing? The steam propulsion can be trimmed back, you only need the one piston per system as the goal with steam propellers is to get the max prop shaft speed, using many smaller boilers i have found in my experience builds steam faster as there is less steam volume. Fun fact boilers can set to 'translational movement forward' and the will allow to ai to control the burn rate based on the imput I can't see moving the propellers to be lower working as that require rebalencing the ship
Powerplant: that is some impressive steam system in the center its all good for what it needs to do but it is contributing to the crafts' high material usage rate. a large fuel engine might be better but that would mean carrying fuel so can see its justifiable.
Hull shape is very good looking but a lot of the decrotive componets can be mimics instead, it wounden't significantly affect the cost but would keep the decorations out of the way
Firepower:Gun mantlets can be placed further back in the turret to protect them. You only need one meter gap for the gun barrels. the guns are well built not wasting cooling or autoloader speed. the APHE is perfectly fine for most targets but 29 AP and only 7K KE damage will struggle against higher armour targets with more than two layers of metal. the disrupter shell is an old design that dosn't work anymore. The VLS missiles need a 'one turn' to first aquire the target, otherwise they just shoot off into space. the torpedos have frag warheads? also need a one turn or remote guidence
lastly the ai seems to set up more for a circling aircraft than a ship it still performs the same regardless.
